This is the bridge of the Castle Doorwerth, near the river Neder-Rijn. I actually painted it from a photograph that I took on my laptop, because the weather was not good enough to sit outside at the location. I was especially interested in the different shadows.
Technique
Watercolour: it had been a long time since I last did a water colour and I enjoyed it a lot. Probably because I am now more used to the bright colours of acrylics, this water colour turned out quite bright as well. I especially enjoyed being able to include so much detail so easily.
